2014年3月から4月にかけて日本全国縦断ライヴ・ハウス・ツアーを敢行したロック界最重要アーティスト、ボブ・ディラン。そんな彼の最新作は『ザ・ベースメント・テープス・コンプリート：ブートレッグ・シリーズ第11集』。最近になって発見されたボブ・ディランとザ・バンドによる1967年の伝説的なレコーディング・セッションのオリジナル・テープから修復・復元された音源を数多く収録した、　全138曲入り6枚組の歴史的なアイテムである。
ザ・バンドのガース・ハドソン等の監修によって、収録音源は1967年当時のサウンドにできる限り近づけられ、彼の記録に基づいて時系列に沿って収録される。2冊の豪華ハードカヴァー・ブック、セッションについての詳細な解説、レアな未発表写真などが、約7インチサイズのボックス (前作の『アナザー・セルフ・ポートレイト』デラックス・エディションと同様)の中に収納される。
